History And Origin of Life

The history and origin of life on Earth is a complex and fascinating topic that has been studied and theorized by scientists for centuries. While many aspects of this field are still subject to ongoing research and debate, there are several key theories and discoveries that provide insights into the origins of life. 1. Chemical Origins: The Earth is estimated to be around 4.5 billion years old, and shortly after its formation, it entered a phase known as the Hadean Eon. During this time, the planet was subjected to intense volcanic activity, meteorite bombardment, and a hostile environment. It is believed that the first organic molecules necessary for life, such as amino acids and nucleotides, were formed through chemical reactions in the primordial soup of Earth's oceans and atmosphere. These molecules are the building blocks of life. 2. Miller-Urey Experiment: In 1953, Stanley Miller and Harold Urey conducted a groundbreaking experiment to simulate the conditions of early Earth...

How to prepare for UPSC Civil Services Exam along with job.

Many Aspirants have asked how to prepare for UPSC Civil Services Exam along with job. Here are my tips on it: Finding time to study Wake up at 5 AM. This will be most fruitful. You may have studied late at night in your student days, but with job, your mind will be too tired to assimilate heavy exam stuff.  - 4-5 hours every day (5am-8am minimum) - Atleast 12 hours on Sat & Sun Utilizing travel & work breaks -Try to finish newspapers, current affairs in office breaks.  - Don't try to do optional. Impact will be less - Try to live near workplace to save travel time.  - Use public transport over bike to study while travelling. Else listen videos/ audios Sources -Instead of trying to increase sources of study, focus on in depth study from limited sources. -This is the most critical aspect as you are short of time - Many toppers have recommended limited sources -> Just stick to that Outsource -Since you have less time, you must NOT focus on work which you can get ...

Polymers and Biopolymers

Polymers are large molecules made up of repeating subunits called monomers. They are composed of long chains or networks of monomers that are chemically bonded together. Polymers can be found in various forms, including plastics, fibers, rubbers, and coatings. They have a wide range of applications in industries such as packaging, automotive, construction, textiles, electronics, and more. Biopolymers, as the name suggests, are polymers that occur naturally in living organisms. They are derived from renewable resources and can be biodegradable, making them environmentally friendly alternatives to synthetic polymers. Biopolymers can be found in various biological materials, such as proteins, nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), carbohydrates (cellulose, starch), and certain types of natural rubber. Here are some examples of biopolymers: 1. Proteins: Proteins are biopolymers composed of amino acid monomers. They have diverse functions in living organisms, including structural support, enzyme cata...
